Crews fought a fire that erupted in a Little Village neighborhood coach house early Sunday.
No one was hurt when the fire started about 2 a.m. at a building in the 2500 block of West 23rd Place, leaving a gaping hole in the building's roof, officials said.
Multiples pieces of fire equipment continued to pour water on the 2-11 alarm fire as of about 3:30 a.m. but no flames could be seen coming from the building, which is located in a residential area.
Police on the scene said the structure was unstable.
Two ambulances were standing by on the scene but no injuries were reported, police on the scene said.
