Karen M. Stratton, executive director, Comer Children's Hospital

Karen M. Stratton has been appointed executive director for the University of Chicago's Comer Children's Hospital.

Stratton, a registered nurse and Ph.D., has an extensive background in operations in children's health care. She also has held academic roles in graduate nursing studies, professional development, and research.

Stratton came to University of Chicago Medicine from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she was as clinical assistant professor and coordinator for the Graduate Nursing Administrative Studies program.
