Judith L. Bachman has joined Huron Consulting Group as a managing director in its Huron Education practice focused on academic medical centers. At Huron Education, Bachman will draw on 30 years of experience to support AMC clients in strategy development, performance improvement and operations redesign. She joins Huron Education from Thomas Jefferson University and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where she was senior vice president for Strategic Initiatives, responsible for campus wide strategic planning, clinical service line development and management of major strategic initiatives and network relationships. Before that, she was senior partner and managing director of Computer Science Corp.¿s Clinical Consulting Practice, assisting leading academic health systems. Bachman, a registered nurse, has developed a wide range of management methodologies for mission-based institutions, redesigned medical schools and served as a chief nursing officer.
