Good cheer

Former Chicago Police Officer James Mullen, who was paralyzed after being shot while on duty in 1996, is visited by officers from the Jefferson Park District and the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation on Tuesday. The officers were delivering gifts to police families who have suffered tragic deaths or injuries. Mullen is flanked by his wife, Athena, and his 12-year-old daughter, Maggie.
