John Tillotson, chief marketing officer, Phigenics

John Tillotson has been named chief marketing officer at Phigenics LLC, a water management services company. He will lead and develop the company's product and service offerings, training, certification programs and corporate strategy. "John is a marketing and strategy executive with over 20 years experience in water science, risk management, software and communications technologies," said Ashton McCombs, President of Phigenics. "His unique expertise and proven leadership abilities will play a key role in helping Phigenics achieve its mission of being the leader in a new class of water management services for commercial and institutional facilities - Smart Water Management - delivering improvements in water safety and efficiency through innovations in water and information technology and unbiased expert services." For the last 10 years Tillotson has been the head of marketing for nPhase, a pioneer in machine-to-machine software and wireless services. He also has significant experience in water and clean technologies commercializing major technology innovations for Nalco Chemical Co. Tillotson has an M.S. in civil engineering from Tufts University with a specialization in hazardous materials management and a B.S. in chemistry and geology.
