John Orsini, CFO, Cadence Health

John Orsini has been appointed chief financial officer and executive vice president at Cadence Health, the health system created through the merger of Central DuPage Health and Delnor Community Health System.

Orsini, 49, comes to Cadence from Presence Health, a 12-hospital system created through the merger of Resurrection Health Care and Provena to create the largest Catholic health system in Illinois.  At Presence, Orsini made significant contributions to the financial strength of the organization, including the detailed financial work around the merger of Resurrection Health Care and Provena Health.

Orsini began his career in auditing for the Arizona Department of Health Services and has held corporate finance positions at Catholic Healthcare West in Arizona, California and Nevada and at Scripps Health in San Diego. 

Orsini, a CPA, holds a degree in accounting from Arizona State University.
