Jaycie Dane has been named general manager of the Lexus Central Area sales region. The central area covers Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. She previously was a corporate manager for Toyota's Scion division, in Torrance, Calif. She replaces Dan Swartz, who was appointed general manager of Toyota's San Francisco sales region. Dane joined Toyota Motor Sales in 1992 as an intern in the Distribution Operations Department in Torrance, Calif. She also has held positions as logistics systems analyst and production control administrator at Toyota Logistical Services in Long Beach, Calif.; vehicle field sales manager in the Los Angeles region; franchise administration manager in the Retail Market Development Department in Torrance; and sales administration manager in the National Sales Department in Torrance. She joined the Toyota Chicago sales region in 2006, being named assistant general manager in 2010. Two years later, she returned to Torrance to work for Scion. Dane received a bachelor's degree in business administration, with an emphasis in logistics and transportation from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and an MBA from California State University, Long Beach.
