Custom ranch models open in Williams Bay, Wis.
Gerstad has completed a new furnished ranch model at Bailey Estates in Williams Bay, Wis. This new Bay View ranch plan at Bailey Estates offers 1,740 square-feet of stair-free living space for $214,990. At this price the home includes a full English basement, central air conditioning, hardwood flooring and GE stainless steel appliances (gas range, microwave range hood and dishwasher).
Set on a ½ acre homesite, the Bay View represents the sixth ranch plan available within the community.
"With the residential home market experiencing a rebound for the first time in four years, we thought now would be a great time to introduce an entirely new ranch plan at Bailey Estates," says Roger Gerstad, President of Gerstad Builders.
The home features a side-load two-car garage, steeply raked rooflines and decorative brick (per plan). With architectural details like a cathedral ceiling in the great room, eight-foot ceilings in all other rooms and the elimination of unnecessary walls between the kitchen and great room, the feeling of spaciousness is emphasized significantly. A master suite occupies one side of the home and is finished with a ceramic-tiled shower stall, oversized soaking tub with ceramic tile deck, dual closets and vanities.
In addition to the new Bay View under construction, Bailey Estates offers a variety of ranch and two-story homes.
Within Bailey Estates, Gerstad Builders also offers homebuyers the opportunity to modify any available floor plan.
The sales center for Bailey Estates is at 438 Ashley Drive off Bailey Road, approximately ¾ mile west of Highway 67. The sales center is open on weekends from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and by appointment during weekdays. For more information, call 262-245-9750 or 262-903-5555 or visit gerstadbuilders.com
Only a few homes remain at Ravenna of Long Grove
Deerfield-based Meritus Homes announces just seven home sites remain in Ravenna of Long Grove. Buyers can still choose from all six floor plans available in the community, including ranch, master down and traditional two-story homes.
"We've been seeing some great sales momentum across all of our communities, which definitely validates all the positive news you hear about Chicago's new-home market," says Brian Brunhofer, president of Meritus Homes.
Like many of Meritus' other communities, Ravenna of Long Grove is an established community with portions developed by a previous builder and homeowners already in residence. Buyers have the choice of selecting a floor plan from Meritus Homes or bringing their own design or ideas to the table. Brunhofer noted that means buyers will be moving into a neighborhood with plenty of curbside variety and visual interest from home to home.
"There is nothing cookie cutter about Ravenna of Long Grove," says Brunhofer.
He added that Ravenna's floor plans offer features and styles geared toward different lifestyles and family configurations. Floor plans measure from 2,610 to 3,918 square feet and feature three to four bedrooms, two to three and half baths and an attached two- or three-car garage. Homes offer a variety of elevations featuring brick or stone work, and include gourmet kitchens, luxury master suites, full basements, dens and two-story foyers, living and dining rooms, per plan. Prices start from $499,900.
Buyers also have a variety of design options from which to choose to personalize their home, such as fireplaces, tray ceilings, deluxe laundry rooms, art niches and wet bars.
Ravenna of Long Grove is located on the west side of Route 83 at Ravenna Lane, which is south of Route 60 and north of Route 22. For more information, call 224-360-6062 or visit MeritusHomeBuilders.com
Bridgeport model homes showcase flexible floor plans
Just in time for the kickoff of the spring home buying season, two fully furnished models have opened at Lexington Square2, a community of 24 single-family rowhomes in Bridgeport eight blocks west of U.S. Cellular Field.
Located across the street from Donovan Park at 3618 S. Sangamon St., Lexington Square2 offers two floor plans ranging from 2,216 to 2,507 square feet. Base-priced from $379,900 to $414,900, the three-story homes include three bedrooms, two and a half baths, rooftop decks with skyline views, and attached two-car garages. Options allow for additional bedrooms and baths.
Developed by Chicago-based Lexington Homes, Lexington Square2 builds on the success of the developer's first entry into Bridgeport, Lexington Square, a sold-out community of 39 single-family rowhomes.
"At Lexington Square, we fostered a close-knit community," says Jeff Benach, co-principal of Lexington Homes.
Eight of the 24 rowhomes have already sold, and ground has broken on six more rowhomes, which are scheduled for late spring delivery.
One of the models is the 2,507-square-foot Buckingham, which is base-priced from $414,900 and serves as the Lexington Square2 sales center. The Buckingham model showcases the new entry foyer in all Lexington Square2 homes, which includes a half wall on the left and a granite-topped niche on the right upon entering the home.
"We listened to homebuyer feedback and added a sophisticated looking space for buyers to organize items like keys and purses," Benach says.
The porcelain-tiled entry on the Buckingham's lower level leads to an attached two-car garage. A half flight of stairs up on the main living level, the kitchen features white cabinets with crown molding, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and an island. This level also includes a powder room, laundry closet, open living/dining room, and an oversized balcony off the kitchen.
On the third level, the Buckingham model features a master bedroom suite, including a walk-in closet and a bath with a granite, dual-sink vanity, soaking tub and walk-in shower with a clear glass door. Two additional bedrooms share a full hall bath.
A second model available for viewing is the 2,216-square-foot Grant, which is base-priced from $379,900.
To visit Lexington Square2, exit I-90/94 at 35th Street and head west for eight blocks. Turn left at Halsted Street and continue for three blocks.
