Heat wave charted

Frank Wachowski holds a chart of the deadly 1995 heat wave at his home in <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100501170000" title="Burbank (Cook, Illinois)" href="/topic/us/illinois/cook-county/burbank-%28cook-illinois%29-PLGEO100100501170000.topic">Burbank</a>, Ill., on June 27, 2005.  Wachowski runs the official weather station collecting climatological data for Chicago <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLTRA0000135" title="Midway Airport" href="/topic/transportation/air-transportation/midway-airport-PLTRA0000135.topic">Midway Airport</a> from his home. He recorded the 106-degree peak of the heat wave 1995 which killed numerous people in the Chicagoland area.
