Matteson man charged in Beverly murder

A 32-year-old Matteson man arrested in Arkansas days after a shooting in Chicago's Beverly neighborhood was charged with murder.

Kyle Arrington was shot in the abdomen on May 15 in the 9900 block of South Walden Parkway. He died about a month later.

David Twine, of the 4500 block of Columbine Lane in Matteson, was arrested in Arkansas on a warrant for aggravated battery with a firearm and is due in court on the murder charge on Thursday.

Police announced charges against Twine late Wednesday, saying only Twine was "identified through a Chicago police investigation" as the shooter.

Twine was in court Wednesday. | Twitter: @ChicagoBreaking
