In the first inning of the fourth game of the exhibition season, Cubs pitcher Carlos Silva and third baseman <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PESPT006037" title="Aramis Ramirez" href="/topic/sports/aramis-ramirez-PESPT006037.topic">Aramis Ramirez</a> scuffled in the dugout over Silva’s criticism of the team's shoddy defensive play. Afterwards, manager <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PESPT00008863" title="Mike Quade" href="/topic/sports/baseball/mike-quade-PESPT00008863.topic">Mike Quade</a> absolved both, setting the tone for a season of unaccountability.
