Born out of the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="EVGAP00019" title="Occupy Wall Street" href="/topic/unrest-conflicts-war/demonstration/occupy-wall-street-EVGAP00019.topic">Occupy Wall Street</a> movement, Occupy Sandy Recover has mobilized volunteers throughout the areas affected by Sandy to provide food, clothing, supplies and assistance to victims of the one of the most destructive natural disasters to hit the U.S. Northeast.
