• Ricky Robertson's body still lay on the street as his family gathered in a circle on a front lawn nearby and prayed. Word had spread quickly among them that Robertson, 47, was killed as he rode his bicycle down the 10200 block of South Green Street in the Washington Heights neighborhood and someone in a passing car opened fire around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday. • A CTA worker found a man dead on a Green Line train at a South Side "L" terminal early today, possibly from a drug overdose, authorities said. The man, 22, from Addison, was found on a train at the Ashland/63rd terminal of the Green Line, and was pronounced dead on the scene at 2:43 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. • Highwood police are investigating two more reports of adults trying to lure children into their vehicles. The incidents bring the number of such reports in the area to five in recent weeks — in Highwood on April 22 and 24 and in Deerfield on May 2. Read more
• A 21-year-old man died in a car crash on the Far South Side on Wednesday night, authorities said. The crash happened in the 11100 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue about 10:30 p.m., police said. Read more
