Two suspects in a recent bank robbery were injured in a car crash on the Near West Side today, authorities said.
At 2:40 p.m., paramedics were called to Ogden Avenue and Madison Street and took two people in good condition to Rush University Medical Center, said Chicago Fire Department Chief Joe Roccasalva.
Police sources said the two men were suspects in a recent bank robbery.
The FBI responded to the incident, according to spokeswoman Joan Hyde.
"Our agents responded to this and are investigating a possible connection to a federal case,'' Hyde said.
