Authorities look for man with Alzheimer's missing since Tuesday


A 71-year-old man who suffers from Alzheimer’s has gone missing from his East Garfield Park neighborhood home on the West Side, police said.

Jessie Fifer was last seen after wandering out of his home in the 100 block of South Whipple Street on Tuesday about 2 p.m., police said.
He has not been seen or heard from since.

Fifer was wearing blue work pants, a blue and black checkered shirt, and brown shoes, according to police. Fifer is a black man who is 6-feet tall, weighs 175 pounds, and has brown eyes and gray hair.
