"Hit the Wall," the hit, freewheeling show about the Stonewall riots, has been extended for one last week, Steppenwolf Theatre Company announced early Friday. The show, penned by Ike Holter, created by the independent theater company known as The Inconvenience and staged in the Steppenwolf Garage, will now play through Apr. 22.
Tickets for the previous extension sold out in a matter of hours.
Tickets for the added week (five shows staged between Apr. 19 and 22) are on sale now at www.steppenwolf.org. The price, $20, has not increased.
Steppenwolf spokesman Jeffrey Fauver said Thursday that this will be the final extension.
