The hip, venturesome, New York-based chamber orchestra returns to conclude the Ravinia season, with three marquee artists as soloists. At 8 p.m. Friday, Yo-Yo Ma will play the Schumann Cello Concerto on a program that includes works by Wagner, Debussy and Thomas Ades. Saturday (also 8 p.m.), Itzhak Perlman performs the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto. Rounding out the residency at 7 p.m. Sunday will be a program featuring soprano Dawn Upshaw, singing works by Ravel and Stravinsky.
