Al Secord had the fists of an enforcer and the touch of a great scorer during his six and half seasons as a Blackhawk. Traded to the Blackhawks from Boston midway through the 1980-81 season, Secord had a breakout year the following season when he scored 44 goals and collected 303 penalty minutes, the only player in NHL history to have 40 goals and 300 minutes in a single season. Playing on the same line as Denis Savard and Steve Larmer, Secord scored 54 goals and 32 assists in the 1982-83 season and 40 goals in 1985-86.
