Notre Dame has landed two more commitments, one to bolster each side of the ball.
Defensive back CJ Prosise and receiver Deontay Greenberry made their pledges to the Irish over the past two days, according to mulitiple web reports. They are Notre Dame's eighth and ninth commitments for 2012.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Prosise arrived first, the Woodberry Forest, Va., native choosing Notre Dame over offers from North Carolina, Penn State, Virginia Tech and others. Prosise is not ranked by Rivals.com.
Then came Greenberry, a Fresno, Calif. native, who is a four-star recruit and the No. 115 recruit in the Class of 2012 per Rivals.com. Greenberry reportedly had offers from Alabama, Washington and UCLA and fits a need for a physical wideout at 6-foot-3, 180 pounds.
