CLARKSBURG, W.Va.—The U.S. Small Business Administration is offering several online seminars in September.
• The SBA will offer free Web-enabled, instructor-led government contracting training sessions.
The seminars are being offered to eligible individuals or small businesses nationwide as part of SBA’s efforts to provide relevant training to the small-business community. Instructors are from Stover & Associates Inc.

Financial management for government contractors

— Session 1: Sept. 16, 1 to 4 p.m.

Federal contracting and government contract management
— Session 1: Sept. 18, 1 to 4 p.m.
— Session 2: Sept. 19, 1 to 4 p.m.

• The SBA and Small Business Majority will team up for a free webinar series through which small-business owners can learn the basics of the Affordable Care Act, and what it means for their business and employees.
Webinar content generally will be the same each week, and a question-and-answer period will follow.
The webinars focus on what the Affordable Care Act means for small businesses. They pay attention to federal and state provisions to help local small-business owners understand how the law affects them.
Topics include small business tax credits, available to businesses and tax-exempt nonprofits; marketplace updates; shared responsibility; cost containment; and tools and resources available for small businesses interested in learning more about the law.
