There great room has a view of Long Island Sound through a series of french doors and windows. A combination of a love of the water, navel history, and architecture, led Jason Pilalas to want to own a lighthouse. In October 1991, Pilalas got his chance and purchased the Morgan Point Light house, in Noank, for a little over $1 million. After nearly putting in twice that much in renovations by gutting the lighthouse to the granite walls and adding on to the personal living space behind the structure, the Pilalas' were able to move in in May of 1993.
