Dr. Russell Robertson, dean, Chicago Medical School

Dr. Russell Robertson joins Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science as its vice president of Medical Affairs and dean of its Chicago Medical School, effective March 1.<br>

Robertson will oversee  academic programs including curriculum development and student services, develop clinical partnerships and direct medical school operations.<br>
<br>
Robertson brings to the university years of experience in academic and medical school administration, most recently at <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="OREDU0000132" title="Northwestern University" href="/topic/education/colleges-universities/northwestern-university-OREDU0000132.topic">Northwestern University</a>, where he was a professor and chairman of the medical school’s Department of Family and Community Medicine. Before that, he held teaching and administrative positions at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="OREDU0000239" title="University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee" href="/topic/education/colleges-universities/university-of-wisconsin-milwaukee-OREDU0000239.topic">University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee</a>.<br>

He received his M.D. from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit.
