Hand surgeon Dr. Kenneth L. Schiffman has been hired at Loyola University Health System, joining Loyola's Orthopaedic team at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital in Melrose Park. He also is an assistant professor in the department of orthopaedics at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. Schiffman earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, Fla. He completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at Loyola University Medical Center. He completed fellowships in orthopaedic trauma at Sunnybrook Medical Centre in Toronto, Canada, and hand and upper extremity surgery at Princess Margaret Rose Hospital in Edinburgh, Scottland.
