Tad Wefel has joined Klaff Realty as director of acquisitions, responsible for sourcing, structuring and underwriting the firm’s national acquisition program.<br>

Most recently, Wefel headed acquisitions for an institutionally supported Chicago-based investment firm. Before that, he spent 12 years with General Growth Properties, directing the acquisition of  high-profile retail properties including The Rouse Co., JP Realty, Ala Moana, The Grand Canal Shoppes and Glendale Galleria.<br>

Wefel has an MBA in real estate finance from the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="OREDU000051" title="University of Wisconsin-Madison" href="/topic/education/colleges-universities/university-of-wisconsin-madison-OREDU000051.topic">University of Wisconsin at Madison</a> and a BA in political science also from Wisconsin.
