Mary Savoie has been promoted to first vice president for industry services at The Options Clearing Corp.<br>

As such, she will continue as lead manager of the Options Industry Council, a cooperative program of education for retail and institutional investors and financial advisers. She also will organize the Options Industry Conference and run OCC’s corporate communications function.<br>

At OCC, Savoie has been vice president of  industry services and corporate communications and director of new products, among other jobs.<br>

Savoie has an MBA in finance and marketing from <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="OREDU0000132" title="Northwestern University" href="/topic/education/colleges-universities/northwestern-university-OREDU0000132.topic">Northwestern University</a> and a BA in economics from <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="OREDU0000292" title="Stanford University" href="/topic/education/colleges-universities/stanford-university-OREDU0000292.topic">Stanford University</a>.
