The Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce has named Christopher L. Johnson government relations manager.<br>

Johnson will help manage the legislative and regulatory agenda at the state, county and city and direct  the chamber’s grassroots legislative advocacy priorities. He also will support the chamber's  political action committee.<br>

Before joining the chamber, Johnson worked on corporate policy and regulatory issues for <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PLGEO100100501330000" title="Deerfield" href="/topic/us/illinois/lake-county-%28illinois%29/deerfield-PLGEO100100501330000.topic">Deerfield</a>-based <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORCRP017359" title="Walgreens" href="/topic/business/consumer-goods-industries/walgreens-ORCRP017359.topic">Walgreen Co.</a>  He was director of community affairs for former Ald. Manny Flores (1st).<br>

Johnson has a bachelor's degree from Illinois State University and is a graduate student at <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="OREDU000019" title="DePaul University" href="/topic/education/colleges-universities/depaul-university-OREDU000019.topic">DePaul University</a>.

Johnson will help manage the legislative and regulatory agenda at the state, county and city and direct the chamber’s grassroots legislative advocacy priorities. He also will support the chamber's political action committee.

Before joining the chamber, Johnson worked on corporate policy and regulatory issues for Deerfield-based Walgreen Co. He was director of community affairs for former Ald. Manny Flores (1st).

Johnson has a bachelor's degree from Illinois State University and is a graduate student at DePaul University.
