Luke Howe has joined the Client Solutions Group at <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORCRP010988" title="Northern Trust Corporation" href="/topic/economy-business-finance/northern-trust-corporation-ORCRP010988.topic">Northern Trust</a> Global Investments, the asset management arm of Northern Trust.<br>

Howe will be responsible for marketing investment products to public pension funds in the Midwest and Western states.<br>

Howe, a 32-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, most recently was executive director of the Park Employees Annuity and Benefit Fund, where he oversaw the $600 million pension fund for more than 6,000 active employees and  retirees of the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORGOV000079" title="Chicago Park District" href="/topic/travel/tourism-leisure/gardens-parks/chicago-park-district-ORGOV000079.topic">Chicago Park District</a>. He had worked for the district for more than  three decades, ultimately as facilities manager.
