Calvin Butler Jr. has joined Exelon as senior vice president of human resources.<br>

Butler will lead a human resources team responsible for overseeing activities including employee selection, managing,  development and training.<br>

He had been senior vice president of corporate affairs for ComEd, where he managed state legislative initiatives, real estate and facilities and economic development. Before joining ComEd in 2008, Butler was senior vice president of external affairs for R.R. Donnelley.<br>

Exelon also named Victor Fonseca senior vice president of compensation and benefits; John Samolis senior vice president of labor relations; and Michael Campbell vice president, talent management and HR operations, all reporting to Butler. Exelon also named Ellen Caya vice president of cyber and physical security and Susan Weiss vice president of the commercial operations group.
