Boys lacrosse: By the numbers

Games decided by one goal in last year's state tournament. In Class4A-3A, South River edged Wootton, 14-13, in the semifinals before falling to Linganore, 13-12, in the title game. In the 2A final, Glenelg nipped Patterson Mill, 5-4.

Jersey number worn by Calvert Hall senior attackman Patrick Kelly, who finished with 77 points last season (43 goals and 34 assists).

State titles won by Hereford, one shy of the state record of eight held by Dulaney. When the Bulls captured their fourth straight last year, they tied Dulaney for the most consecutive titles.

Total points scored by Glenelg's brother tandem of Nick and Mikey Wynne last season. Nick, now a senior, finished with 64 goals and 56 assists, and Mikey scored 42 goals with 40 assists as a freshman.
