Host Severna Park boys lacrosse trailed No. 9 Severn by one goal at halftime before going on a 4-2 run in the third quarter to spark a 9-8 upset victory Thursday night.
"Severna Park outhustled and dominated the groundball battle," Severn coach Brian Wood said. "They made the plays when they had to and we did not."
Weston Butcher led the Falcons (2-1) with four goals, and Ryan Lamon had a game-high five goals for the Admirals (4-2).
No. 3 Calvert Hall 10, Conestoga (Pa.) 3: The visiting Cardinals (2-2) got off to rough 0-2 start but continued their turnaround against the Pioneers (0-2).
Garrett Christianson had three goals for Calvert Hall.
No. 5 McDonogh 10, St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Va.) 5: Brinton Valis had a hat trick and the host Eagles (6-1) led by three or four goals for most of the game against the Saints (4-3).
Winters Mill 16, Oakdale 3: Ryan Ackerman had four goals and two assists to lead the host Falcons (2-1) past the Oakies (1-1).
Manhasset (N.Y.) 15, No. 3 Notre Dame Prep 4 : Katie Willis scored twice, but the visiting Blazers (2-3) fell to the Indians.
No. 7 Mount Hebron 15, River Hill 6: Vikings coach Trish Derwart credited the play of goalie Maddie Fisher (13 saves) in the win.
Jamie Schwartz had six points (three goals, three assists) for visiting Mount Hebron (3-0).
No. 9 Broadneck 20, Westminster 10: Ellie McNulty scored a game-high seven goals and Aislinn Probst added five goals to power the Bruins (1-1) past the Owls at the Anne Arundel Community College Tournament.
Queen Anne's 10, No. 13 Annapolis 4: Ali Moulis had a hat trick to lead the Lions past the Panthers (1-1) at the Anne Arundel Community College Tournament.
Chapelgate Christian Academy 18, Key School 7: Emma Rufolo scored a game-high six goals to power the host Yellowjackets (2-1) past the Zags (1-4).
No. 2 South River wins two: The Seahawks (3-0) beat Chesapeake-AA, 1-0, and Abingdon, 10-1, at the Seahawks/Cougar Invitational.
In the first game, Craig Sheridan threw a seven-inning shutout, giving up three hits and striking out nine for South River.
In the second game, Scott Mitchell went 3-for-3 with three RBIs.
No. 6 Loyola 6, Dulaney 4: The visiting Dons (5-2) scored twice in the top of the seventh inning to beat the Lions.
Mason Kapelanski pitched two innings of relief for the win.
No. 7 C. Milton Wright 14, Harford Tech 3: Payton Pross went 3-for-4 with four RBIs and scored two runs to power the visiting Mustangs (3-0) past the Cobras.
C. Milton Wright led 12-1 after three innings.
No. 14 Mount Hebron 8, Reservoir 2: Winner Maddie Bennett struck out eight for the win and went 2-for-4 with the only extra-base hit of the game, a triple, for the visiting Vikings (4-0).
