2013 stats: 9-10, 3.24 ERA in 211 innings over 32 starts
Connolly's take: The Orioles' interest in Santana goes back to when he was part of a proposed trade with the Angels for Miguel Tejada in the mid-2000s. Santana had a heck of a bounce-back year in Kansas City last season, lowering his ERA almost two full runs from 2012. He'll be tied to a draft pick and probably will get a deal beyond four years. Those are two strikes against him, but the Orioles are expected to show interest anyway.
