Dense fog set in around the Baltimore area Wednesday, causing some school districts to delay their opening times.
The National Weather Service has issued a fog advisory warning until 2 p.m.
Overnight, a mixture of rain and snow is forecast, though snow accumulation is expected to be less than half an inch. Temperatures will be in the mid-30s.
The weather will warm up to about 40 degrees Thursday with cloudy skies predicted for most of the day.
A slight chance of snow and rain is expected Friday afternoon and snow overnight. Skies are anticipated to be mostly cloudy with temperatures dipping around the high-20s.
Partly sunny weather around the high-30s is forecast for Saturday, though it will drop to about 25 degrees at night.
