You're off to a great start, there, Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr., and I think you've discovered the correct bottom line ("The good, the bad and the ugly of Obama's administration," Jan. 5). I would have included, as an example, the effort at the very start of President Barack Obama's administration, and a few times after, to defund the D.C. school voucher program. This theme appears about to be re-enacted by Mayor Bill DeBlasio in New York. Let's kill any initiatives in educational reform if the teachers' unions don't like them and never mind the lower income parents who love them.
In the foreign policy arena, I would have thought the personal intervention in a Libyan civil war rated a mention. Funny how things seem vastly worse there these days.
