We never want to see come back: Senator Theatre drama

The drama surrounding the 2009 foreclosure of the theater, the city's purchase and transfer of operations to James "Buzz" Cusack and his daughter Kathleen, (who operate the Charles Theatre) and Kiefaber's repeated protests has become its own sad saga. It would be nice to focus on the silver screen instead of the drama that surrounds it. That said, we certainly hope Kiefaber is able to make peace with the changes at the theater he loves so dearly, and perhaps someday mount a comeback of his own.

Tom Kiefaber, the former owner of the Senator Theatre, was arrested for allegedly trespassing and harassing workers who were renovating the old movie house.
