1.) What is your favorite WrestleMania moment watching as a spectator or from behind the curtain?
I was a kid in New York when the first WrestleMania was going on, the whole Rock 'N Wrestling era with Mr. T, Roddy Piper, Hulk Hogan. I was 13 years old. I was hooked into the whole thing. The first WrestleMania was big from a historical standpoint, and it's been well documented that if it failed, who knows what wrestling would have become. WWE's national expansion could have failed in its infancy, had it not been the big success as it was.
One moment that sticks out is the double turn with Bret Hart and Steve Austin (WrestleMania 13). You never get that image of Austin caught in the Sharpshooter, blood pouring out of his face, refusing to give up. Everything shifted 180 degrees that night. Bret turning around (after the match) and stomping on him one time. Everything he built for all those years he just threw it away. You could see for months the momentum building with the people for Austin, but to see it unfold in front of you, it was masterfully done. They are two of the greatest performers that ever lived. That was a big one for me.
