Hardy is on the opposite end of the spectrum as Chris Davis. Hardy won a Gold Glove at shortstop, but his numbers at the plate took a dip after a career year in 2011. He batted just .238, the second-lowest average of his career, and ranked last among Orioles regulars with a .282 on-base percentage. He did smash 22 homers with 68 RBIs, though. If Hardy stays healthy, his power numbers should be similar, and his batting average and on-base percentage could rise back toward -- or above -- his career averages of .259 and .314, respectively.
