With 26 home runs, a Triple Crown-caliber slash line, solid play at first base and a contract that pays just $3.3 million this season, Davis is one of the best bargains in baseball. Acquired in the Koji Uehara trade two years ago, Davis will be under the team's control through the 2015 season. His salary should sharply rise once he hits arbitration, but right now, the Orioles are employing the most dangerous hitter in the game for about one-tenth of what the New York Yankees are paying Alex Rodriguez to work on his tan lines.
