Franchot gets it wrong on the Internet sales tax

Comptroller Peter Franchot says we're losing out on millions in tax revenues, and local businesses are being put at a competitive disadvantage, by the fact that e-tailers like Amazon.com avoid charging Maryland sales tax. But he says any attempt by the state to do something about it would be a mistake. But his idea of waiting for Congress to step in is nonsense.
