Renee Alisea, mother of two, holds a picture of her sister Deborah, who died of ovarian cancer in 2006. After a genetic test showed she also had a high risk for the cancer, and the doctor donated his services, she agreed to a hysterectomy. At the time she believed Franklin Square Hospital was also donating the costs of the operation. She has been sued by the hospital for a $10,800 hospital bill.
