Having already clinched the AFC North title and with their playoff position pretty much set, the Ravens rested their starters in Week 17. Flacco played just 16 snaps in the game and Pierce handled the rushing load. Still, the Ravens had a chance to beat the Bengals late in the game. Backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor's 1-yard touchdown run gave the Ravens a 14-13 lead with 12:50 remaining. After the Bengals reclaimed the lead with a 38-yard field goal by Josh Brown, however, Taylor threw an interception that defensive end Carlos Dunlap returned 14 yards for a touchdown to put the Ravens down 23-14.
