We decided to make wings and go for a honey-mustard concept. We removed the honey and added Peeps!
What you need:
1 dozen chicken wings
2 Tablespoons of yellow mustard
1 teaspoon of horseradish (optional)
Fill a saucepan with a few cups of water and bring to a boil. In a metal mixing bowl, add about a half cup of the boiling water and place the bowl on top of your saucepan. Slowly start adding the Peeps one at a time and melt them down, stirring them to make sure they melt evenly. Once fully melted reduce the temperature but keep the bowl on the saucepan so the peeps do not start to solidify. Add in the mustard and horseradish and whisk together. More mustard or horseradish can be added to taste.
Generously salt and pepper the chicken wings and place on a pre-lit grill on medium-high heat, flipping occasionally. Once cooked thoroughly, place the wings into the bowl with your "Peep-mustard" and toss to coat the wings. Garnish with chopped green onions and enjoy!!
