Good thing Michael Phelps has been brushing up on his golf game. He's going to need it for a celebrity-filled tournament.
According to organizers of the 2012 Ryder Cup Captains & Celebrity Scramble, Michael Phelps is in, and he'll be going club-to-club with stars including Justin Timberlake, Bill Murray, George Lopez and Scottie Pippen.
The tournament happens Sept. 25 at Medinah Country Club in Illinois, the same place as the regular Ryder Cup.
The stars will play 10 holes on the course against past Ryder Cup captains -- golfers including Ben Crenshaw, Tom Kite, Tom Lehman, Corey Pavin, Dave Stockton, Hal Sutton, Lee Trevino and Lanny Wadkins.
Phelps has been perfecting his swing with Hank Haney for the reality show "The Haney Project," which is set to air in February on the Golf Channel. The show follows Haney's efforts to coach Phelps. Haney is known for coaching other celebritiees like Ray Romano and Charles Barkley.
