Crossing guard Judy Slaysman, center, watches as students who attend Rodgers Forge Elementary School cross Dumbarton road in front of the school. They are participating in the International Walk To School event this morning. Ms. Slaysman has been a crossing guard here for the past six years. The event partnered representatives from the AAA Mid-Atlantic Foundation for Safety and Baltimore county police officers, who taught traffic safety to students.
