The Parkway Theatre, at 5 West North Avenue, is considered the anchor of the Station North Arts redevelopment. Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, joined by state officials, preservationists, and community members, announced $10 million in state tax credits to fund 10 restoration projects in Maryland, including the Parkway Theatre on North Ave. The 1915 Parkway will receive $2 million toward its redevelopment as the home of the Maryland Film Festival, in partnership with Maryland Institute College of Art and Johns Hopkins University.
