Pasadena Pawn and Gun store owner Frank Loane, Sr. has guns to sell, but he also has 230 gun background checks waiting to be approved from store purchases, by the state police. Demand for guns has soared in Maryland. Applications have tripled compared to last year, creating a backlog of more than 60 days as Maryland State Police struggle to keep up with background checks. A trio of gun groups have filed a lawsuit over the delays.
