Baltimore City Detention Center

Overall, I was dissappointed with my hotel experience. It's not a bad location. It's close to downtown amenities. Not far from the restaurant district in Mt. Vernon and a short jaunt to Canton, Harbor East, and Fells Point. Although the location is almost prime, I found the accomodations to be seriously lacking. First, I found that the staff could be a little friendlier. I have never, ever been accused of hiding anything in my bum during any check-in at the Four Seasons. It was nice that they checked in my belongings right away though. As for the actual room, the decorations and accompanying bedding needs serious attention. For example, I was only provided a metal frame bed and one pillow. Tres Uncomfortable! I was told that sleepwear would be provided, but I didn't find it to be quite formfitting or my particular style, orange is so last fall. Also, they appeared to have doublebooked my room as I had to share the facilities with another gentleman who was quite gruff (and that's being kind). Next, don't even get me started on the shower and commode facilities. The one bright spot was that breakfast was served sharply at 6:00 a.m. The eggs were a bit runny, but who is to complain after suffering through the aforementioned maladies After mother picked me up in the morning, she appeared to be quite upset. Per chance, I should have booked at the Four Seasons next time to avoid her confrontational attitude.
Quality: Overall Poor to fair
