"Justice is one of the foundational principles of our Nation and is the birthright of every individual privileged to call himself or herself an American. The Trayvon Martin case, I believe, has engendered the passionate interest of so many because of the justice, or lack thereof, it represents. Regardless of the facts of the case, in the end another of God's children is dead, another life not fully lived, another made in His image and likeness deserving of our love and our prayers."
