Glimpsed at May Day 2013: Pam Haner

W.C. Harlan bartender Pam Haner, 31, was a stylist for the fashion show at the May Day 2013 fashion event at the Tremont Grand, which benefited the Baltimore Fashion Alliance and Smart Dressed Man Program. The Remington resident showed off her talent with her own self-described "chic but different" style. Haner wore a 1940's black blazer that was part of a suit she found at a vintage shop, with a Mona B. black blouse bought at Hunting Ground that featured black-and-cream striped collar and cuffs and a pleated black H&M mini skirt borrowed from her roommate. She added black and white knee-highs from Nordstrom, which she wore pushed down with black pointy-toe Calvin Klein Mary Janes from the early 1990s. The black velvet wired headwrap was an American Apparel find. The black bow with white dots was something she picked up at a vintage shop, while she snagged her vintage black clutch at the GBMC Nearly New Sale. One of her style secrets? "I always wear some vintage," she said. "It's better quality and more interesting than the things you can buy in the mall now."
