Michael Herwig, 30, loves both fashion and a good bargain. Combine them and you get what this Mt. Vernon resident calls "smart chic" style, which was in evidence at Twilight on the Terrace, a fundraiser at Gertrude's Restaurant at the Baltimore Museum of Art for The GLCCB: The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Community Center of Baltimore and Central Maryland. Herwig wore a navy and white striped cotton fedora, white linen shirt that featured tan and white striping inside the placket and collar and blue chambray skinny pants - all from Express. "I'm an Express guy all the way," said the Eastern Properties vice president of operations. Herwig picked up his white sneakers and silver bangle at H&M. His silver buckle bracelet came from Tiffany & Co. Among the trends Herwig is into this summer: "The high pant with rolled-up cuffs, and linen. I think linen is coming back."
