Children will surprise you. Crepes sound kind of sophisticated, but kids love to eat things they can hold in their hands. Sofi's makes very satisfying savory crepes, but the sweet crepes -- stuffed with good and gooey combinations like peanut butter and chocolate or banana and homemade butterscotch -- might be a better ice-breaker for kids, who will enjoy watching the staff prepare them before their eyes. There are multiple locations of this Baltimore-born creperie, but the original Sofi's, next to the Charles Theatre, is a great place to introduce children to the art of people-watching.
